Dearest Yusha'u,

I read the article on Nigeriaworld.com early this morning. It is really very kind of you for bringing such eminent personalities that are beacon of hope in a society so notorious with corruption. Thanks a lot. I hope those thieves that dot our landscape are reading, may be they might be remorseful and those aspiring to steal will have a change of heart. On a personal note, I must thank you for making my day because of the write up. This is because this evening a fellow military officer serving with me here in Asmara, Eritrea has the audacity to tell our outgoing Force Commander that I was among those that stole the wealth of the nation. You know Yusha'u, he came from one of the South-South States. It was so disheartening and embarrassing. I personally knows Abu Gidado having come from Katsina State myself and I make bold to say that all that you wrote about him is true. May Allah continue to bless you.

I have met this man personally and did one or two things for them as a staff of Sheraton Hotel.  His PA a young disappeared man, took after him.  This man believes in people like I have never seen. As Minister for Finance I did not make any dime from him, so I am not blowing the paid pipers tune.  But I have learned humility. Come to think of it the name of that his PA, not from his place, a young man who excelled himself during NYSC and got a National Award, he got blessed to be taken in! by the Hon Minister, not the complete story, but a very hard working man that later authored a book, launched in Sheraton before going into oblivion.  His name is Shuaib.  Nigeria has elders who are indeed elders, like Adamu Baikie whose life is so settled into raising people that as VC of Nassarawa State University, he has raised it to an amiable state in so short a time. There are so many unannounced great men and women, that we only see the attribute in the offspring they raise.  May God help these great people and all good people to eat the fruit of their labour. Amen.

Obasanjo, the man that is leading the charge to rid Nigeria of corruption has Ota farms  and real estate investments in all parts of Nigeria. And if his kids are to be counted as wealth he has them in abundance.

Who will pay this man's bills in old age? Just curious.

I thank God that we have people like this alive, as Nigerian and living in Nigeria. How I wish we have more of them to pilot the affair of this nation.

Thanks for this piece. As a writer and his close associate, are you too incorruptible like him in today’s Nigeria? The profile looks unbelievable but I can doubt you after reading some of your writings and works

I read about your former boss, Abu Gidado, who you claimed, had held juicy appointments in the past without enriching himself.I have no reason to doubt you; I only hope that what you portrayed about him is true.

Warm regards.
