CHAIRMAN

Engr. Hamman A. Tukur    

Engr. Hamman A. Tukur was born on January 24th, 1942 in Jada, Adamawa State. He was at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he bagged B. Sc in Physics and a M. Sc in Engineering. He also attended other institutions at home and abroad. He started his work career at Consolidated Tin Mines, Jos before moving to the academia as a Lecturer at Kaduna Polytechnic. He was Head of Department of Electrical/Electronics before he became the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic.

From the academia the Federal Government appointed him Managing Director, National Electric Power Authority, (NEPA). He was also appointed Director-General, Federal Ministry of Mines, Power and Steel and later Director-General, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources. It was while on retirement that the Federal Government appointed him Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in 1999. Engr. Tukur who has received several awards, is a Member, Institute of Strategic Studies, Kuru; Fellow Nigerian Society of Engineers; Fellow, Yaba College of Technology; Member, Institute of Electrical Engineers (England) and is a recipient of national honours award of Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR).

 Engr. Tukur left a mark in the various places he was privileged to serve but it was probably in the RMAFC that his impact was most felt across the nation.  Through the cordial and mutual relationship with other members, the Commission under his leadership was able to achieve the following within the last five years:

 

•               Formulation of acceptable, fair and equitable revenue formula for the benefit of Nigerian.

•               Remuneration Packages and Monetisation Policy for public officers’ pay which drastically minimized public wastage of resources.

•               Successful determination and resolution of disputed oil wells in the Niger Delta leading to a reduction of tension and hostilities.

•               Monitoring of all sources of revenue to the Federation from oil and non-oil sectors resulting in significant improvement in accruals to the Federation Account.

•               Repositioning of the Commission to reflect its status as a constitutional body

•               Reconciliation of External Debts of Federal and State Governments

 

 

DEPUTY CHAIRMAN/OGUN

H.H. THE OTUNBA AYORA DR. BOLA KUFORIJI-OLUBI 

Born on the 28th of September 1935 in Lagos State, the Otunba (Dr.) Ayora Bola Kuforiji-Olubi attended St. Teresa’s Catholic School, Jos and St. Agnes Teachers’ Training School, Maryland, Ikeja. She proceeded to the Regents Street Polytechnic, London for her ‘A’ Levels, and City Of London College, Moorgate for a Graduate Course. She bagged a B.Sc. in Economics at the University of London.

Chief Kuforiji-Olubi is the first female Chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), then an affiliate of Bank de Paris, and the first female Chairman of a Bank in Africa.

She was first Nigerian woman to be appointed Managing Director of a Multi-national Company (VYB Industries Ltd in 1977) and first female to be MD of a publicly quoted company (BEWAC). She was also Group Executive Chairman, BEWAC/ VYB group; Secretary (Minister) of Commerce and Tourism (1993); Member, Joint Traditional Rulers and Leaders of Thought (1995-97); Member, Vision 2010 (1996-97); Member, High Level Advisory Committee on Sustainable Development United Nations (UN) and Member, World Business Council On Sustainable Development.

Dr. Kuforiji-Olubi is a Fellow Inst. of Chartered Accountants (FCA), England and Wales; Fellow Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Fellow Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration.

The Otunba Ayora Kuforiji-Olubi has received several doctoral awards including Doctor of Business Admin, HC  (DBA, ESUT 1997) and Doctor Of Laws, HC (LLD 2004). She has also bagged several traditional titles including Otunba Ayora Of Ijebu Land, Suada Egba (1986), Iye Alaje Of Ibadan Land (1987), Ada-Idaha Ke Eburutu Of Efik Land (1989) and Aha Eje Agamba Of Isu 1 Nkwere. She holds the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) and Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

She was appointed a Federal Commissioner and Deputy Chairman in the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

ABIA

NWADIALA (BAR.) EMEKA WOGU

Born on 29th, January 1965 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Umuahia, Nwadiala, Abia State, Emaka Wogu attended elementary school between 1971 and 1975 before proceeding to Holy Ghost College, Owerri (1975-1978) and Ngwa High School, Aba (1978-1980) passing out with a WASC. Barr. Wogu was at the Imo State University (1982-1986) obtaining a LLB (HONS), Nigerian Law School (1986-1987) obtaining a BL (HONS) and obtained his MPA at the University of Calabar (2001-2002). He also attended an International Seminar on Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2002 and is at present undertaking a part time Masters Programme in International Relations. Barr. Wogu was Vice-Chairman, Aba South Local Government (1991-1993), Chairman, Aba South (1993) and Member, Federal House of Representatives (1998). He was appointed Special Adviser (Political) to governor of Abia State (June-Nov. 1999). Bar. Wogu has been a Director of several companies since 1990 and established Emeka Wogu & Co in 1990. He holds several traditional titles across the country including, Omezuru of Ohazie (1992), Kpakpandu of Aba, Nwadiala of Aba and Amulutto of Oshogbo (2002). He is also a member, Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and Aba Sports Club in addition to being a member of various cultural organizations including Ohaneze. Bar. Wogu who is married to Oyabebefa and has a daughter loves Golf, Reading, Traveling and Arts. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the RMAFC in July 2000.

 

ADAMAWA

Zailani Ahmed

Zailani Ahmed was born in Yola, Adamawa State on the 29th, September 1939 and attended Barewa College, Zaria between 1953 and 1958 for his West African School Certificate. Ahmed also attended Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Zaria (1959-1961); Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U) Zaria (1962-1965) from where he obtained a B. A Degree in Public Administration. He was also at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands in 1970 for a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration Alh. Ahmed started off his working career in 1965 as Administrative Officer, Northern Nigerian Government and had stints in Eastern State Government and the Gongola State Government retiring as a Permanent Secretary in 1985. He was Board Member, Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority (1986-88); Chief Census Community Research Officer (1990-92) and Commissioner, Adamawa State Civil Service Commission (1994-99). Alhaji Zailani Ahmed was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.   

 

AKWA IBOM STATE

REV. (DR.) EFANGA O. INYANG JP 

Rev. (Dr.) Efanga O. Inyang, JP, was born in Akwa Ibom State on 8th August 1942. He attended Marshall University, Huntington, USA; North Texas State University (Now University of Texas) USA; Lagos Theological University, USA and Pan African University. Some of his academic qualifications include; BA, MA and Phd. He also attended several training programmes at home and abroad on Accounting, Taxation, Budgeting, Financial Management and Theology.       He has wide experience in the civil service where he was Director Budget in Cross River State and later in Akwa-Ibom State where he rose to Director-General, Budget and Planning. He was a Financial Management Consultant before his appointment as a Federal Commissioner in Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.  As a Reverend gentleman, his church title supersedes all other chieftaincy titles conferred on him in the past.

 

BAUCHI

ALHAJI AHMAD ILYASU 

Born in 1952 in Misau Bauchi State, Alh. Ahmad Iliyasu attended Institute of Administration, ABU Zaria for a Diploma in Accounting (1976-1978). He was also at the Institute of Business Administration, London, where he received a HND, a Postgraduate Diploma and an MSC in Business Administration accomplishing all between 1981-1986. He also undertook further training in Accounting, Industrial Relations, Credit Accounts and Economics. Alhaji Ilyasu started his working career with the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Bauchi in 1972. He worked in various organizations including STEYR Nig Ltd in various top positions and SILABS LTD where he was the Managing Director. In February 1994 he was appointed Hon. Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Bauchi from where he moved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources. He later went back to SILABS Nigeria Ltd in 1997 as Executive Chairman from where he was appointed Director, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and Director Afro-Luck Nig.  Alhaji Ilyasu who bagged Honorary Fellowship Doctorate of the Institute of Journalism and Management, Enugu, is a member of various professional bodies, including Institute of Business Administration London, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), National Accountants of Nigeria (CNA) Institute of Directors (IOD) and Institute of Cost and Management Accounting (MICMA). He was appointed Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in November 2001.

 

BAYELSA

MR. DAMBO NIMITEIMBOFA

Mr Dambo Nimiteimbofa was born on September 6th 1962 in Nembe, Bayelsa State. He attended Nembe National Grammar School, Nembe (1975-1977); Ansar Ud-deed Grammar School, Lagos (1977-1980); Federal School of Arts and Science (1981-1982) and University of Port-Harcourt where he bagged B. Sc. Economics in 1987. He has attended several seminar and workshops on export procedure, credit analysis, treasury management and export finance among others. He also has to his credit research works which include “The Impact of Nigeria’s Membership of OPEC on the Nigerian Economy,” “Oil and Agriculture: Partners in Development” and Monetary Policies in the 80s” Mr. Dambo was appointed Senior Officer Pan African Bank Limited (1989-1992); Asst. Manager, Treasury and Money Market Operations, Areta Finance and Security Limited (1992-1993); Chairman, Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee, Brass Local Government Council, Bayelsa (1997-1998); Press Secretary to Chairman Nembe Local Government Council (1998) and Manager Octopus Clan Nigeria Limited. He was appointed Commissioner, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and later Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Bayelsa State between 2001-2003. He joined the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission as a Federal Commissioner in 2002.

 

 BENUE

CHIEF HON. ABU KING SHULUWA

Chief (Hon) Abu King Shuluwa was born on December 31st, 1946 at Ikurav-Tiev in Katsina –Ala Local Government area of Benue state.He attended Government Secondary School Katsina-Ala between 1961-1965; Leadership Training Center, Shere Hills, Jos (1988); Kaduna Polytechnic (1969-1971); University College Swansea, Britain (1972-1974); London School of Economics & Political Science (1975-1976) and Atlanta University where he received M.S.C. in Social Policy Planning and Administration in 1980. He began his working career as Class Clerk of Government of Northern Nigeria in 1966. His other positions in public service include Youth Officer in Jos; Asst. Social Welfare Officer in the then Benue Plateau state; Social Worker at Withenshaw Hospital Management Board, Manchester and London Northwest Center for Rehabilitation.  He has held several public appointments notable among which include Director of Social Development in Benue; Sole-Administrator and Chairman Katsina-Ala LGA; Chairman Local Government Pensions Board; Chairman LGJA and was Commissioner in various Ministries in Benue State including Youth and Sports; Agriculture and Chieftaincy Affairs; Agriculture and Natural Resources and Information and Culture. Chief Abu King Shuluwa was a member of the Investigation Panel on Local Govt Joint Account; Member, Benue State Implementation Task Force on Economic Relief Measures; Chairman of Investigation Panel in Benue State Scholarship Board and Chairman, Implementation Task Force on Civil Service Reforms, Benue State. He belongs to various professional bodies and cultural organizations. He is also an active politician who joined partisan politics in 1991.He was Campaign Coordinator for Presidential Aspirants in Benue and was party leader at state and federal levels. Chief Shuluwa holds the Chieftaincy Title of Sema Wan U Tiv (favourite son of Tiv) and was appointed a Federal Commissioner in Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

Borno

Alhaji Mala Alamai

Alh. Mala Alamai was born on the December 13th, 1940 in Maiduguri, Borno State. He was educated at Kaduna Polytechnic (1961-64); South-Eastern London Technical College (1965-66) and Willesden College of Technology (1966-70). Alamai also holds a Certificate in Building Construction from the City and Guilds Institute, London and another Certificate on Quality Surveying from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, London. He was Chairman, Nigerian Students Action Committee in United Kingdom. His working career includes stints as: Asst. Technical Officer (Building), Northern Nigeria Ministry of Works and Housing, Kaduna (1960-66); Pupil Quality Surveyor, North-Eastern State, Ministry of Works and Housing (1971-73); Quality Surveyor/Director of Songhai Limited, Kaduna (1973-1979); Deputy Chairman/Chief Executive, Songhai Limited (1980-96) and Chairman/ Chief Executive Songhai Limited (1996). Other appointments held by Alamai include: Commissioner, Ministry of Trade, Industries and Co-operative and that of Local Government and Social Development Borno State (1976-79); Chairman, Borno State Rural Electrification Board (1984-85); Chairman, National Republican Convention (NRC 1990-91) and Director, Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company (1989-93). Besides being Chairman and Director in several banks at various times, he was also Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission in Rivers and Gombe States between 1999 and 2002. He was appointed as a Federal Commissioner in the RMAFC in 2002. 

 

Cross River

Emmanuel Nsa (ESQ)

Mr. Emmanuel Nsa was born on the 15th of May 1964 and attended Duke town Primary School, Calabar (1970-1975) and the West African People’s Institute (WAPI) between 1975 and 1980. Mr. Nsa obtained a B.Sc in Mathematics/Statistics, Postgraduate Diploma in Management and a Masters in Business Administration all from the University of Calabar between 1987-2000. Mr. Nsa started off as an Assistant Clerical Officer, Ministry of Youths, Sports and Culture (1980). He was Senior Clerk with the Merchantile Bank of Nigeria Ltd; Assistant Credit Manager, Xpress Investment Ltd and Managing Director, Asan Express Investment Ltd. Mr. Nsa’s stints in public service started in 1993 as a Member of the Board of Cross Lines Limited. He was State Secretary – People’s Democratic Party of Nigeria, Cross River State (1996-1998); Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Economic Planning (1999-2003); Chairman Cross River State Planning Commission; Chairman, Cross River State Tenders Board (2001-2003). He was also Chairman, Central Planning Committee for the Inauguration of Government of Cross River State (1999); Chairman, Central Planning Committee for the visit of President Olusegun Obasanjo to Cross River State (2002) and Chairman, Monitoring and Supervision Sub-Committee for Miss World Beauty Pageant (2002). Mr. Nsa has received several Awards and Honours including: Certificate of Excellence from Esop Ndito Esit Edit; Outstanding Millennium Leadership Award by the Good Nieghbours Association, Calabar and Award of Excellence by the Rotaract Club of Polytechnic, Calabar. Mr. Emmanuel Nsa was appointed Federal Commissioner RMAFC in 2002.     

 

EBONYI

CHIEF DR. PETER AMADI NWANKWO

Dr. Nwankwo was born on 11th March 1934 in Ohukwu LGA in Ebonyi State.  He attended St. Theresa’s School Abakalki and St. Patrick’s college Calabar for his Cambridge Overseas Certificate. Dr. Nwankwo proceeded to Lincoln University Philadelphia, USA where he obtained a B.Sc. in Accounting/Psychology. He also obtained a M. Sc. in Management Accounting from the Mary Wood College Seration, Pennsylvania and completed a PhD in Business Finance at the Clinton University Livonia, Chicago, USA.

An upwardly mobile man, Dr. Nwankwo had been: Cashier, Abakaliki County, Eastern Region (1955-1957); Teacher at West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, USA (1965-1966); Lecturer at the Wilmington Community College, Delware, USA (1966-1969); Assistant Director of Finance with Association of Greater Wilmington Neighbouring Center, Delware, USA (1970-1971). Dr. Nwankwo was also; Financial Controller, Ashamu Group of Companies, Isolo, Lagos (1984-1986); Director of Budget/Finance, Ashamu Group of Companies Isolo, Lagos (1987-1990); Member, State Land Allocation Committee, Enugu (1994-1995) and Chairman and Managing Director, CENPAC Nig Ltd and CENPAC International. Dr. Nwankwo is a member of several professional bodies including: National Society of Public Accountants, American Accounting Association and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

Edo

Chief Tom Uloko

Chief Thomas Oshioke Williams Uloko was born in Afowa-Uzaiure, Etsako-West LGA of Edo State on April 29th, 1949. Chief Uloko holds a Higher National Diploma obtained from the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State (1983) and a M. Sc in Finance of the University of Calabar (2001). Chief Uloko has attended several courses and seminars including some at, Junior Chambers of Commerce; Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Nigerian Institute of Taxation and Nigerian Economic Summit Conference. He is a member of several professional bodies including: Institute of Bankers (London); Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); Nigerian Institute of Management and Nigerian Institute of Taxation. He holds a Doctor of Divinity (DD) Honourary Degree of the Cleveland University of Theology, Tennessee. Chief Uloko started his working career at our Lady of Fatimah Grammar School, Auchi (1968). He was at various times, Accounting Officer/Bank Inspector, Union Bank of Nigeria (1968-79); Senior Partner, S.S Afemikhe and Co. (Chartered Accountants 1985-91); Managing Partner, Uloko Thomas & Co. (Chartered Accountants 1992-1998) and Special Assistant to Governor of Edo State/Director, Edo State Liaison office, Abuja (1999-2000). He was appointed a Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

Ekiti

Chief Deji Fasuan

Deji Fasuan was born at Afao-Ekiti September 6th 1931 and attended St. Andrews School Are-Ekiti (1939-1945) and Christ’s School Ado-Ekiti (1946-1951). He attended the University College Freetown where he took a Degree in Economics of the University of Durban (1959) before proceeding to the Economic Institute of the World Bank in Washington D.C in 1972. He also attended short professional courses at the Universities of Ife, Ibadan and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Chief Fasuan who is Jagunmolu Ado-Ekiti and Akogun of Efon-Alaaye Kingdom has worked in several government parastatals as Chief Executive and later Permanent Secretary in the defunct Western Region and the Old Ondo State. He was elected a member of the 1988/1989 Constituent Assembly. Chief Fasuan who was a Director of Odua Investment Company Ltd between 1997 and 1999 is a recipient of many awards including Ondo State Merit Award (1995) and First Ekiti Merit Award (1997) and is listed in Who Is Who in Nigeria. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the RMAFC in 1999.

 

Enugu

Hon  John Udeh (JP) 

Hon John Udeh was the Area Director of the British Council Enugu from July 1994 to December 1999. As the Area Director, he was responsible for the management of Cultural, Information and Development projects on behalf of the British Council in eleven South Eastern states of Nigeria. Before joining the British Council he was the head of Training of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Enugu Area Office and responsible for developing technical and Management skills in Commerce and Industry. He has written notable papers and facilitated workshops and conferences on various aspects of social and economic development of Nigeria. John Udeh became a Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in September 1999. 

 

GOMBE

Alh. Magaji Muazu (Uban Doman Gombe)

Alhaji Magaji Muazu mni was born on the 14th of March 1936 at Dukku Area of Gombe emirate. Mu’azu was at various institutions of higher education, starting from Clerical Training College, Zaria (1951-1953); Institute of Administration, Kongo, Zaria and Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Ibadan. He was also at Colombo Plan, Canada for Training on Govt Accounts and Audit; Gilwell Park, London, U.K. for Boy Scout course; University of Syracuse, New York, USA for Dynamic Management for International Executives, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru (Course 13) in 1991. A Chartered Accountant, he began his career as Account Clerk in Gombe Native Treasury (1952-1958); moved to Ministry of Finance, Northern Region as Asst. Executive Officer (1958-60); Auditor Northern Nigeria’s Government (1965-67); Principal Auditor, Northern Nigerian Government (1968); Director of Audit and Auditor General North Eastern State (1968-76); Special Assistant to the Managing Director (General Manager) UTC Nigeria Ltd Lagos (1976-79). After retirement from service, he was actively involved in social and political activities. He was at various times appointed member of Bauchi State Wildlife and Hotels Boards; NACCIMA Finance Committee; Bauchi State Land Use and Allocation Committee; Finance and National Executive Committee of Jamaatu Nasril Islam JNI; Bauchi State Advisory Committee. He was Chairman, Northern Nigerian Civil Service Union; Scout Commissioner, North Eastern State; Auditor, Nigeria Red Cross Society; Deputy Chairman NES Arts Council and Chairman North Eastern State Football Association. Alhaji Magaji Muazu who was Federal Minister for Establishment and Training during the Shagari Administration had served as Director, Bank of the North Ltd; Chairman, Essential Commodity Agency, Bauchi; President, Bauchi State Chamber of Commerce; National Vice-President, Association of National Accountants (ANAN); Director, Savannah Sugar Company Limited; Director, Inland Bank Plc; Chairman, Bauchi State Policy Accounts Committee. On Special Assignments, Alh. Muazu was Member, Constituent Assembly of Nigeria (1977-78) and also the Constitution Review Committee (1995). Alh. Muazu who holds the traditional title of Uban doman Gombe was appointed a Federal Commissioner of RMAFC in 1999.

 

IMO

DR. (HON.) CHIEF OTUOKERE U. NJAKA

Born on November 10, 1940, in Akokwa, Ideato North LGA of Imo State, Dr. (Hon) Chief Otuokere U. Njaka, had his primary and secondary education in Nigeria. For his post-secondary education he went to the United States. He was at the National Technical Schools, Los Angeles; Loyola University of Los Angeles; University of Southern California and Dallas State College. His sojorn in the U.S. earned him a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, MBA in General Business, MBA in Finance and a PhD in International Business Management and Public Administration.  Dr. Njaka started his working career as a tutor with Earnest Gems Grammar School, Akokwa and later as a Revenue Clerk at Board of Internal Revenue, Orlu. He was Senior Coordinating Manager Sears Roebocks and Co. Los Angeles; Utility Analyst, Shell Oil Corporation; Los Angeles and Management Consultant U.S.A. Small Business Administration.  Dr. Njaka was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the following: Opun International Group of Companies; Njaka Community Medical Centre; American Medical and Educational Services and American Glass Engineering Inc. USA. He was a Minority Leader (NPN) in Imo State House of Assembly in the Second Republic. Dr. Njaka has appeared in Who Is Who in the Commonwealth; Who Is Who in Africa and Who Is Who in the United States of America. He holds 31 chieftaincy titles, notable among which are the Anaegboiyi II, Akokwa, Imo State; Nna Nyere Ugo I of Orlu Ancient Kingdom; Akanachi MBA I of Amihi, Ihitte Uboma. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 2003.

 

Jigawa

Ibrahim Ismail  (Jarman Ringim)    

Alh. Ibrahim Ismail was born on August 24th 1952 in Ringim area of Jigawa State. He attended Govt Secondary School Hadeija (1967-1971); Abdullahi Bayero College (19771); Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for B.A. (Ed) and University of Jos for MED. Alhaji Ismail started his career as a Teacher in GSS, Birnin Kebbi in 1973. He taught at Edo College Benin City and Gumel Advanced Teachers College where he rose to Vice-Principal. He moved to Kano State Institute for Higher Education where he was Academic Secretary. He was Director of Studies and later Deputy Provost, Kano State College of Education. From Academics he moved to mainstream Civil Service as a Director (Monitoring) in Kano State Civil Service Commission; Director Personnel Mgt, Ministry of Water Resources, Kano state; Director, Jigawa State Emergency Relief Agency and Executive Secretary, Jigawa State Civil Service Commission. Alhaji Ismail has been actively involved in social and political activities. He was Party Secretary, Member of Police Community Relations Committee; Member, Negotiating Committee between Kano State Govt and Labour Union and Member, Governing Council, Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi. Alhaji Ismail who holds the traditional title of Jarman Ringim won an election and participated in the National Constitutional Conference in 1994. He was appointed Federal Commissioner in RMAFC in 1999.

 

KADUNA 

ALHAJI YAKUBU SHEHU

Born in Guga, Kaduna State on 15th March, 1945, Alh. Yakubu Shehu attended Sokoto Teachers Colleges for his Grade II Teachers’ Certificate and the Advanced Teachers College, Zaria for his NCE. He was later at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Alhaji Shehu bagged a Postgraduate Diploma in Development and Planning from the Institute of Economic Development and Planning, Dakar, Senegal and attended several developmental courses in Dartmoth College, New Hampshire, USA; Institute of Management, Dublin, (Republic of Ireland), the World Bank and Finance Institutions in several Asian Countries. Before he became the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer – Bank of The North Ltd, he had served in several capacities in the public sector. He was a primary school teacher between January and October 1967, Principal Planning Officer, Ministry of Economic Planning, Kaduna State (1975-1981); Controller, Nigeria Industrial Development Bank Limited (NIDB); General Manager/Executive Director ICON Ltd (Merchant Bankers); Assistant General Manager, Nigeria Industrial Development Bank (N.I.D.B.). He has to his credit many school prizes and service awards and was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999. 

 

KANO

ALHAJI ABUBAKAR SADAUKI 

Born on October 10, 1940, in Kura Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Abubakar Sadauki had his education at Kura Junior Primary School, Kano; Middle School, Kano; Provincial School, Kings College, Lagos; University of Ibadan and Williams College Mass., U.S.A. He also had further training at Central School of Planning and Statistics, Warsaw, Poland; Royal Institute of Public Administration, U.K; Barclays Bank Training School, U.K and Manchester Business School. Alh. Sadauki started his working career with the Northern Nigerian Government as Planning Officer, Ministry of Economic Development, Kaduna. He was Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Economic Development, Kano (1974-76); Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education (1976-1983) and Secretary to the Military Government and Head of Civil Service (1984-86). In the Private Sector, Alhaji Sadauki, started as Area Manager, Union Bank of Nigeria, Kano (1980-83) and rose to become Deputy General Manager in 1989. He was also Executive Director, First Bank of Nigeria Plc between 1990-96 and Executive Director, Sterling Civil Engineering Nigeria Ltd in January 1998. He was Chairman Kano Bendel Timber Company between 1969-1975. He has been on the board of the following institutions: Institute of Administration, ABU Zaria; Kaduna Polytechnic, NNDC, Kano Forum; Kano Foundation and is Chairman, Bank of the North. He was appointed Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.   

 

KATSINA

ALHAJI ABU GIDADO

Alhaji Abu Gidado was born on 2nd of April 1940 in Katsina town. He studied at Barewa College, Zaria between 1960 and 1962 before proceeding to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1962-1965) to bag a B.A. (Hon.) in Business Administration. Alhaji Gidado’s wealth of experience spans various fields of endeavours beginning with his appointment as a sales trainee with Shell Nigeria Limited in 1965. He was promoted to senior sales representative in charge of Kano District in 1966 and later Jos. He rose to the position of Retail Manager North (1970-1973). He was also at Arewa Textiles where he served as Sales Manager from 1974 to 1975. He was appointed Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Kaduna State in 1975 and Commissioner for Finance (1976-78). He became the Deputy Chairman, State Executive Council that handed over to Civilian Administration in 1979 and returned to Arewa Textiles as General Manager for six years. He was also Deputy Managing Director, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria for four years.

Alhaji Gidado’s past schedules include, Member, Board of Directors, Peugeot Automobiles; Member, Board of Directors, Arewa Textiles; Member, Board of Governors, Kaduna Polytechnic; Member, Board of Directors, DPMS/IBM; Chairman, Katsina State Water Board. He served in TCPC Sub-Committee for Privatization and Commercialization in the Automotive Industry and was Director of some multinational conglomerates. Alhaji Gidado who became Minister of State for Finance in 1995, Chaired the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for about four years, represented Nigeria’s interest at African Development Bank, and Afreximbank amongst others. He has won several awards locally and internationally. He joined the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission as Federal Commissioner in 1999. 

 

KEBBI

SALIHU MOHAMMAD JEGA

Alhaji Salihu M. Jega was born on March 15th, 1945 in Illo-Bagudu Area of Kebbi State. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration (PDPA) and later a Masters of Arts Degree in Public Administration. He was also at the International Institute of Public Management, Washington D.C. (USA) where he received a Diploma in Financial and Human Resource Management. He started his working career as a senior member of staff of the Nigerian Tobacco Company in 1965. Other appointments he held in the past include Asst. District Officer in charge of some areas in Sokoto State; Principal Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Health; Secretary, Sokoto Local Government Council; Ag. Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources; Secretary, State Executive Council, Sokoto State and Executive Secretary, Sokoto Urban Development Authority. Between 1981-1988, he was Permanent Secretary in several ministries in Sokoto State before he became Director-General, State Civil Service Commission. Alh. Jega who transferred his service from the state civil service to federal level as a director in 1989 moved to various ministries that included Ministries of Social Development, Youth and Sports; Culture and Social Welfare; Trade and Tourism and was Executive Director, Nigerian Tourist Board. In 1994, he was promoted Director-General, Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity from where he moved to Ministry of Petroleum in 1996. It was in the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs that he retired from the service in 1998. Alhaji Jega who held several other positions at state and federal levels, is a member of the prestigious Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, mni, and is a recipient of the national honours of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON. He was appointed to the RMAFC in 2001.

 

KOGI

DR. UMAR FAROUK ABDULAZEEZ

Dr. Abdulazeez was born in Okene, Kogi State on the 24th August 1938 and attended elementary school in Okene before proceeding to Government College, Keffi in 1952. In 1958, he was at Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Zaria for his GCE ‘A’ Level and in the same year was admitted to the University College Ibadan. He holds an M.B.B.S. (London) and an O.P.M (Executive MBA) from the Harvard Business School, Boston. Dr. Abdulazeez started out as an Audit Clerk in Kaduna in 1957 but went on to study Medicine at the University Colleg, Ibadan. He qualified in 1965 and took up a job as House Officer, City Hospital Kano; He was at Maternity Hospital, Ilorin (1996-1967); Medical Officer attached to the Military Force at Makurdi (during the Nigerian civil war) between 1967 and 68. Dr. Abdulazeez moved to the ABU Medical School Zaria as Demonstrator in Anatomy, Department of Anatomy (1968-1969) and was later Lecturer/Registrar in Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, A.B.U, Zaria (1970-71). He was also Industrial Medical Officer, Nigerian Paper Mill Ltd, Jebba (1971-1973); Medical Adviser Ciba-Geigy Ltd, Lagos (1973-1976); Medical Director Okene Clinic Hospital (1978-1999) and Chairman/CEO Biomedical Services Co. ltd and several other companies. He has been involved in international medical services including World Heath Organization Committee on Essential Drugs Production (1984-1990) and WHO Committee on Diarrhea Diseases and O.R.T. production (1987). Dr. Abdulazeez, the Tafidan Ebira has received several national and international recognitions, published several essays and is an active politician. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

Lagos

Omokayode Aremu Anjorin

Alhaji Aremu Anjorin was born in Addo, Lagos Island Local government of Lagos State on February 14th, 1939 and attended Native Authority School Addo (1945-1947); Methodist School, Ikorodu (1948-1952) and Colony Teachers Training College, Ikorodu (1955-1956). Anjorin holds a B.Sc (Business Administration) obtained from the University of Lagos in 1966 and a D.P.A earned from the University of Ife in 1968. He also has a certificate in Public Administration (RIPA) London and a Certificate in Project Analysis obtained from Bradford University, U. K. Anjorin started out as a Pupil Teacher, Native Authority School, Ipakodo, Ikorodu (1954) and was later Cadet Supervisor, Central Bank of Nigeria. Alhaji (Chief) Anjorin joined the public service in 1966 and served in the following capacities: Administrative Officer, Western Region of Nigeria (1966-68); Administrative Officer, Lagos State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (1968-74); Deputy Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Finance (1974-75); Secretary, Public Service Commission, Lagos State (1975-77) and Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the Military Government and Head of Service (April-Sept 78). Alh. Anjorin was promoted Permanent Secretary in October 1978 and served in various offices including: Office of the Secretary to the Military Government and Head of Service (1978-79); Ministry of Trade and Industry (April-Sept. 1979); Ministry of Works (1979-83); Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (1984-86) and Ministry of Education (1986-87). He was appointed Acting Secretary to the Military Government and Head of Service in 1986 and retired in 1987. He took up appointment as Managing Director, Credence Nigeria Ltd, Lagos in 1987; became Chairman, Fenton-Keynes Finances Ltd in 1991 and was appointed National Commissioner, National Electoral Commission of Nigeria (NECON) in 1995. He was appointed a Federal Commissioner in the RMAFC in 2001.

 

NASARAWA

YAKUBU MUHAMMED     

Born in Lafia, Nasarawa State in July 1939, Alh. Yakubu Muhammad attended Benue Middle School, Katsina-Ala and the Ilorin Teachers College for his Grade II Teachers’ Certificate. Muhammad was at the Institute of Administration, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria where he bagged a Diploma in Education Planning and Administration. He was also at the University of Tanzania and the Royal Institute of Public Administration, London. Yakubu Muhammed’s working experience includes stints in teaching and public service. He was Administrative Officer (field services) and Principal Admin Officer (Budget and Finance) in Nasarawa. He was also Permanent Secretary in the Plateau State Civil Service, Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Yola; Chairman, Governing Council, Plateau Polytechnic; Member Governing Council, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs; Chairman National Library Board and Member, Governing Council, Kaduna Polytechnic. Yakubu Muhammed, who holds the traditional title of Magaji Garin Lafia, served as Director in several public and private companies. He was appointed Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

NIGER

ALHAJI MUHAMED E. ENAGI 

Alhaji Muhamed E. Enagi was born in Dikku area of Niger State on January 1, 1936. Apart from his elementary and middle school which he did in Niger State, he attended Government Secondary School Katsina (1953-1954), Government Secondary School Okene (1955-1956) and Nigeria College Zaria (1957-1959). Alh. Enagi had further training at Nigeria College, Zaria (1959-1960) Leeds University (1963-1964) and University of Wisconsin, Madison (1974-1976). He was wide experience in education where he started off as a teacher in 1961 and rose to Director of Education in 1976 before he became Permanent Secretary in the State Government Service in 1979 up to 1982. Alhaji Enagi has been a member of several government bodies at state and federal levels including; National Library Board (1978-1982); Governing Council, University of Calabar (1985-1987); Implementation Committee, National Policy on Education (1987-1991), West African Examination Council (WAEC) (1987-1998). He holds the traditional title of Sarkin Mallaman Nupe and became a member of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

 ONDO

HIGH CHIEF BAYO AKINNOLA    

Born in Ondo Town on August 1st, 1934, High Chief Bayo Akinnola attended Ibadan Grammar School where he later became the Vice-Principal. He was at Nigeria College of Arts, Science and Technology Ibadan for his ‘A’ level in 1955. He was at University of Ibadan and bagged a B.A. (Upper Division) in 1960. He was in University of Manchester England, for a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. He served at the Nigerian Tobacco Company as PRO, Marketing Manager, and later Personal Assistant to the Chairman between 1964 and 1971. He was Commissioner for Information and later that of Industries in the Western Nigerian Government. Some of his other appointments include: Member of Council of the then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti; Chairman, Board of Directors of Oluwa Glass Company Plc; Ondo State Industrialization Committee; Board of Trustees, Ondo State Education Endowment Fund and Metal Packaging Group of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. He was an elected member of the 1994 Constitutional Conference. On the business front, High Chief (Dr.) Akinnola is the Director and or Chairman of many business concerns both within and outside Nigeria. These include Atobi Enterprises Limited; Atobi Metal and Paper Industries Limited; Okegun Farming Enterprises; Cutler-Hammer (Nig.) Ltd; Gem Limited; Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Limited and West African Portland Cement Company (WAPCO). Some of the awards he won include Wither’s Prize for Professional Teaching of the University of Manchester; Roll of Honour of Ondo State; National Productivity Merit Award; Ondo Town and Community Merit Award; Distinguished Alumnus Merit U.I; Honourary Doctorate Degree in Management Teaching by the Federal University of Technology, Akure and National Award of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR). He is the Maiyegun of Ondo; Bajulaiye of Aiyeka; Lotun of Ondo and Lisa of Ondo Kingdom, the second in command to the Traditional Ruler of Ondo Kingdom. He was appointed a member of RMAFC in 1999. 

 

OSUN

MR. A A.ABIDOGUN

Mr. Adeoye Adegbenle Abidogun was born on September 7th, 1931 in Ejigbo, Osun State. Apart from his secondary education at Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta, he was at Ballam & Tooting College, London (1946-1951); City of London College, London (1958-1959) and North Western University, (Executive Programme) Evanson, USA (1983). Mr. Abidogun is a Member of Chartered Institute of Secretaries; Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators and Nigerian Institute of Management. He started his working career as Branch Accountant, Cementation Company Limited, London (1960-63) and was in Lever Brothers Nigeria Limited rising from Cost and Technical Accountant to Commercial Director in 1973. He was Chairman and Managing Director, Lipton of Nigeria Limited (1980-84); Chairman and Managing Director, Lever Brothers Nigeria Plc, Apapa (1984-87); Director UAC of Nigeria (1982-1989); Director, Trans Nigeria Assurance Company Ltd (1978-79); Director, Industrial Bank Ltd (Merchant Bankers 1988-1999). In the Public Service, he held the Following appointments; Member, Management Committee, Ejigbo Local Council; Chairman, Board of Governors, Ejigbo Baptist High School, Osun; Chairman, Manufacturers Association, Apapa Branch; Council Member For Life, Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria; Chairman, West African Portland Cement Plc; Chairman, Oyo State Higher Education Development Appeal Fund Committee; Member, Governing Council Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Osogbo; Farmer, Ohida Intergrated Farming, Ejigbo, Osun State. HON. JUSTICE S.L. POPOOLA RTD

Born in Saki, Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State on 23 September 1932, Justice S. L. Popoola had his elementary and secondary education in Oyo State. For his post-secondary school education, he attended North-Western Polytechnic, London (1956-1958), Holborn College of Law (1959-1962), London University (1960-1963), and Council of Legal Education London (1960-1963). He was admitted into the Inner Temple, London (1960-1963); Institute of Administration, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria (1964) and Nigerian Law School (Sep 1965- Dec 1965). Some of his qualifications include LLB (Hons), London (1963); BL (English Bar) 1963; Diploma in Public Administration (University of Ile-Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University OAU 1964) and BL (Nigerian Bar) 1965. Justice Popoola has wide experience in the civil service, private practice and the judiciary. He was Administrative Officer, Western Region Civil Service (Oct 1963-Sep 1965), in Private Legal Practice (Jan 1966- Feb 1982) High Court Judge, Oyo State Judiciary (Feb 1982 Sept 1997) before he became a Federal Commissioner in Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission Abuja in 1999.

 

PLATEAU

CHIEF JOHN MAJU MANKILIK

Born on February 20th, 1950, Chief John Mankilik attended Government Commercial College, Zagu (1966-1970), College of Business Administration Studies, Kaduna Polytechnic (1971-1973), South West London Polytechnic, London and Arthur Dr. Little Graduate School of Management, Cambridge (1984-1985). He also holds other Professional Certificates from the Nigerian Institute of Management and Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) London. He started his working career as an Administrative Assistant, ABU Zaria (1973-1975); Lecturer, School of Management Studies, Kano Polytechnic (1978-1979); and was also in Senior Management Position at Continental Merchant Bank Nigeria PLC and Plateau Investment Company Limited (1979-1984). Chief Mankilik was a Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport in Plateau State in the early 90s. Before this he was Honorary Secretary, Plateau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Plateau State Branch; Member, Plateau State General Supplies and Distribution Agency Limited and Director, Butura Community Bank.  In 1998/99 he was Governorship Aspirant under PDP Platform in Plateau State. He was appointed Federal Commissioner, Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999. 

 

RIVERS

DR A. S. ABAM

Dr. Abam was born in Okrika, Rivers State in 1939 and acquired a B. Sc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ibadan. He was at the University of Lagos for both his M. A (History) and PhD. Dr. Abam has a Certificate in Project Analysis and Management (CPAM) obtained from the Institute of Public Administration, University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University); C. P. A, Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA). He also attended the International Institute of Public Administration, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Abam attained the following positions in the Federal Civil Service: Secretary, Federal Tenders Board; Secretary, National Council on Health; Administrative Secretary, Department of Customs and Excise; Federal Director of Budget and retired as a Federal Director-General (Permanent Secretary). He is the Author of the book: “The Okrika Kingdom: An Analysis of the Dynamics of Historical Events”, is a Senior Research Fellow, (Honourary) University of Port Harcourt and holds several awards and chieftaincy titles including: War-Canoe Housing Chief, Okrika (Abam-Ado) and Justice of the Peace, JP, (Rivers State). Dr. Abam who was the first Secretary to the Commission in 1988 and was appointed a Federal Commissioner in RMAFC in 1999. 

 

Sokoto

Hon Bello G. Kware

Hon Bello Kware was born in Kware town of Sokoto State in 1951. He started his education at Magajin Gari Primary School (1959-65) and was at Nizzamiya School Sokoto (1965-67). Hon. Kware also attended Sultan Abubakar College (1967-1971) and the Kaduna Polytechnic in 1976. he has a Diploma in Accounting obtained from the Kaduna Polytechnic in 1980. Hon. Kware was a teacher in Tambuwal and Nizzamiya Schools between 1971 and 1974. He was Finance Clerk (1974-1976); Department Accountant, Sokoto Local Authority; Revenue Officer of the then Sokoto Local Authority and Later Chief Accountant (SUDA) Sokoto. Hon. Kware was a member, Constituent Assembly (1988); Chairman Sokoto State Youth Council; Member, Sokoto State House of Assembly; Elected Deputy Speaker, Sokoto State House of Assembly (1990-1992) and was State Treasurer of the People’s Democratic Party, Sokoto State. Hon. Bello Kware joined the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission as Federal Commissioner in 1999.

 

TARABA

MR. USENI GANGUM

Born on the 31st of December 1946 in Taraba State, Mr. Useni Gangum had his primary and secondary school education in old Benue Plateau State between 1953 and 1966. Between 1967 and 69 he was at the Federal School of Science, Lagos where he completed his H. Sc. programme. He also obtained a Diploma in Public Accounts and Audit from the Kaduna Polytechnic in 1968. Mr. Gangum has wide experience in the civil service. He was at the Benue Plateau Civil Service between 1970-1976 and the Gongola State Civil Service between 1976-1991. He was Accountant, Ministry of Trade and Industry (1978-79), Accountant, Expenditure Control, Office of the State Accountant-General (1978-1980); Senior Accountant/Secretary Local Government Fund; Chief Accountant I/C NEC - Gongola State; Director of Treasury – Gongola and Taraba States (1991-1993) and Accountant-General, Taraba State between 1992 and 1999. Mr. Gangum became a Federal Commissioner in Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission on the 20th November 2003.

 

 ZAMFARA

ALHAJI ALIYU A. GUMMI

Alhaji Gummi was born in Gummi, Kano State in 1942. He attended the Gummi Elementary School (1949-1953), Sokoto Middle School (1954-1955) and the Sokoto Provincial Secondary School (1956-1961). Alhaji Gummi holds a Degree in Arts and Islamic Studies (specializing in History) earned from the Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U.), Zaria and attended Senior Officers’ Training course at the Royal Institute of Public Administration, London in 1973. He was Administrative Officer, North-Western State Government between 1968-1979, served on the Board of Ajaokuta Steel Company (1984-1995) and was also a member, Land Allocation Committee in Sokoto State. Alhaji Gummi who got into active politics from 1978 was part of the struggle that led to the creation of Zamfara State from the then Sokoto State in 1996. He has held several political positions and was appointed a Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 1999.

 

Federal Capital Territory

MAJ. GEN. (DR.) A. B. MAMMAN

Maj. Gen. Mamman was born on the 21st of July, 1941 in the Abaji area of the present Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and attended primary school in Abaji, Provincial Secondary School, Okene and NMTC-Kaduna. He had military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England; Royal School of Artillery, Lark Hill, England and the Odessa Military College, Former USSR. Maj. Gen. Mamman attended several military courses including, Command and Staff Course, Gunnery Staff Course and Artillery Battalion Commander’s Course, etc. He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru near Jos. Maj.Gen. Mamman received several awards in the course of his service to the country. They include Forces Service Star, fss; Passed Staff College, psc; Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic, OFR and the United Nations Service Medal. Maj. Gen. A. B. Mamman served in the Nigerian army for 30 years and rose to the rank of Major General. He was at various times Minister for Internal Affairs, Industry and Technology; Member, International Observer Team to Zimbabwe; Member, United Nation’s Interim Force in Lebanon; Member, Constitutional Conference 1993 and served on special committees of the Federal Government. Maj. Gen. Mamman is the Garkuwa of Abaji, the Garkuwa of Bwari and the Maji Dadi of Juwa. He was appointed Federal Commissioner at the RMAFC in 1999.

 

Secretary to the Commission

Boniface Iwebunor Enunwa 

Mr. Boniface Enunwa was born on January12, 1947 in Zaria, Kaduna state. He is from Anoicha North Local Government Area of Delta State. Mr. who had his elementary education in Zaria and Delta states, attended Holy Ghost College, Owerri (1966-67); University of Ibadan for his B. Sc Economics (1968-1971); University of Ife for his M.P.A (1975-1977) and Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) London for a Certificate in Public Administration and Human Resources Development. He also obtained a certificate in Rome on Developmental Economics. He started his civil service career as Administrative Officer on October19, 1971 and has been in the service since then, rising to Director. He has served in various Ministries including Ministry of Industry, Cabinet Office, Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation; Federal Ministry of Mines, Power and Steel; Ministry of Transport and that of Aviation. He has served as a member of many White Paper Drafting Committees and represented the Federal Ministry of Power and Steel on the Board of the Delta Steel Company, Aladja, Warri. He also served as Chairman of the Sub-Committee that screened the credentials of Administrative Officers on Salary GL. 08-17. He was Director of Personnel on August 24, 1993 and was later deployed to Department of Finance and Supplies. He was in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation when he was appointed Secretary to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission on November 20th, 2001. He still remains a Pool Officer under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
